Entmoot Update

Hello all! Apologies for the long time delay between posts, life did its thing and got busy again. I’m back now though, starting with the results from the Entmoot tournament way back in May.

Honestly, not the list I expected here

In third place, we have Adam Jenkinson with his Iron Hills/Bard herohammer list! This list was apparently intended to be a bit of a meme list, and I joked when reviewing it that it was guaranteed to go undefeated as a result. It didn’t quite do that, but third place with 10 Attack dice total is a very impressive placement. Great work Adam!

Pretty close to where I expected to see this list

Next up is less of a shock, Andrew Colman rode down several opponents with his Khandish list. Andrew’s an ace with a cavalry list, and Khand is always surprisingly strong, so no real surprises here. However, he was unable to claim the position of top cavalry general on the day, with that prize going to…

Paul Collins with Riders of Théoden! This list is a classic, having proven it can win tournaments many times before. However, it remains a high skill list that can crumble quickly when misplayed, so congratulations to Paul for keeping the rampage going. Death!

There were two Witch Kings in the mix at this tournament, but it was Théoden who was ascendant!

That’s all for today, but keep your eyes peeled for the next article in my listbuilding series in the next day or so.

Until then, may you always get good matchups!
